A well-trained staff, educated in the fundamental operation and maintenance of your reciprocating compression equipment, is one of your best tools for improving performance, minimizing downtime, reducing your overall operating costs and maintaining a safer operation. Cooper Machinery Services created The Learning Center for just this purpose.

Part of Cooper Machinery Services, the Learning Center is a dedicated technical training facility located in Houston, Texas. This free resource is designed to educate customers, operators and maintenance personnel in the specifications, safe operation and routine maintenance and servicing of their reciprocating compression equipment.

With an average of 15 plus years experience in the service, manufacturing and design of equipment, our instructors are ready to meet your equipment training needs. They support The Learning Center from senior technical service or support roles where they are directly involved in day to day activities surrounding the same equipment presented in the workshops. The combination of practical experience and a comprehensive theoretical understanding of the equipment enables them to deliver complex ideas in a constructive, positive way. From the very basic to the most advanced levels, they have the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely to help keep you motivated and on track.

FAQ

Who Should Attend?
These complimentary courses are designed for operators, mechanics, technicians and maintenance/equipment specialists responsible for the safe day to day operation and maintenance of Reciprocating Compression products.

- Goals -
Pass a final exam with a score of 80% or higher.

- Length -
Superior & Ajax - 5 days (US - 32 hours/China - 40 hours) HSR (Gemini) - 3 days Exceptions to this schedule are listed in the course offerings on each page.

- Sizing & Performance Software -
PowerFlow software modules are designed for product sales personnel, application specialists & engineers.

- Safety Equipment & Recommended Materials -
Safety shoes or boots are required for portions of the course. Laptop computers are recommended.

- Cancellation -
Written cancellation of a scheduled workshop shall occur 10 working days before the start date if there are less than five people registered.

- What's Included -
The training package includes lecture, discussion, hands-on, a complete take-home thumb drive and a Certificate of Completion. Lunch is provided on each full day.

- Travel Requirements -
All students are responsible for their own travel arrangements, including hotel and local transportation. Local hotel information and area maps will be included in the confirmation letter.

- Class Times and Class Size -
All 32 hour workshops start at 1 P.M. on Monday and end at noon on Friday (except China). On full days, classes begin at 8 A.M. and end at 5 P.M.
