Amy Roddy Named Chief Human Resources Officer

Amy Roddy is a global human resources executive with deep expertise in human capital strategy, organizational transformation, and workforce engagement. She joins Cooper from Diamond Offshore, where she served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and led HR operations for large, technical, and geographically dispersed teams across multiple regions and business lines.

Throughout her career, Amy has built and developed high-performing HR organizations, supported complex strategic transactions, and guided companies through major operational and cultural transformations. She previously held senior leadership roles at Noble Drilling and Pacific Drilling, where she partnered closely with executive teams to strengthen talent pipelines, elevate leadership capability, and drive large-scale organizational effectiveness initiatives.

Amy is recognized for her ability to design and implement talent strategies that accelerate business performance, foster inclusive and collaborative cultures, and enhance employee engagement at every level of an organization. Her experience spans M&A integration, organizational design, executive development, compensation and benefits strategy, global mobility, and change leadership across multinational environments.

As Cooper’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Amy will lead our enterprise HR strategy—including talent development, organizational design, total rewards, and the continued advancement of our culture. She will serve as a key strategic partner to the executive leadership team as we continue to grow the company, expand our capabilities, and strengthen the employee experience across all operations.

Amy holds an MBA and MEM from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Scott Stampka Named Vice President, Engineering

Cooper is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Stampka as Vice President, Engineering.

Scott brings more than 20 years of engineering and leadership experience in the oil and gas and industrial machinery sectors. Throughout his career, Scott has developed a strong background in product design, technical operations, and team development, with a proven ability to drive innovation and deliver customer-focused solutions. 

Prior to joining Cooper, Scott held key leadership roles at Siemens Energy, Marathon Petroleum Company, and Hoerbiger Engineering Services where he led initiatives to improve equipment performance, operational reliability, and organizational effectiveness. 

Scott holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Performance & Change as well as a Master’s of Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University.
