Cooper Machinery Services has expanded its high-speed engine programs that include a full array of parts, service, and upgrades for Waukesha VHP and CAT G3600 engines. Both after-sale support offerings are part of Cooper’s Emerging Legends Series, a collection of seven inaugural products, programs, and services aimed at natural gas compressor operators.
“It’s really important to us to take care of our customers, no matter what compression equipment they’re using.” said Cooper Chief Executive Officer John Sargent. “Our commitment is to extend the life of legacy equipment and bring environmentally sustainable solutions to the market.”
To support the thousands of high-speed engines currently in operation, Cooper’s 200,000 square-foot facility in Deer Park, Texas serves as a Center-of-Excellence (COE) for service of Waukesha VHP, CAT G3600, and Superior engines. The COE is a warehouse, manufacturing facility and service center, and it houses three engine dynamometer stands capable of load testing engines up to 5,000 brake horsepower. It is standard practice to load test all overhauled engines.
