Scott Buckhout has 20+ years of senior leadership experience with a successful history leading global industrial/energy O.E.M.s with an aftermarket focus. Scott has held CEO, President, and other senior management positions with CIRCOR International, United Technologies (now Raytheon Technologies), and Honeywell International. Scott has an Aerospace Engineering degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Northwestern University.
Malcolm Holmes is a proven business professional with 21+ years of experience across manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain. Malcolm held key management positions at Dresser Industries, Cameron’s compressor division, and Team Industrial Services. Malcolm has a Bachelor of Science in Management from Witwatersrand Technikon and a Mechanical Engineer N4/N5 from Johannesburg Technical College.
Kenneth “Kenny” Pucheu is a 20+ year corporate financial expert in the oil and gas sector who joins us from NexTier Completion Solutions where he served as EVP and Chief Financial Officer for 4 years. Earlier in his career, Kenny held leadership roles in finance, accounting, M&A, information technology, and digital initiatives at Patterson-UTI, Keane Group, and Schlumberger, contributing to strong growth in revenue, earnings, and market capitalization. Kenny holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and executive education from Wharton and the Harvard Business School.
Mike Baughman began his career with Cooper as a high school student in 1979 where he worked on the assembly floor of the famous Grove City, PA Cooper-Bessemer plant. Mike collectively spent 31 years with Cooper over the course of his career in Grove City and Odessa. Mike also spent time at Nickles Industries and Valerus Inc. where he packaged close to 1,000 new and refurbished compressors. In recent years, Mike has run his own catalyst business. He returned to his roots as the leader of Cooper’s Midland-Odessa service, shop, and sales operations as Western U.S. operations leader until April 2024. Mike now serves as Regional VP – West.
David Glasson is a seasoned business executive with 15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. In 2013, David joined Quorex Switzerland as a business development manager. In 2018, David founded Quorex Australia, a gas compression aftermarket service company that was later acquired by Cooper in 2020. Prior to Quorex, David worked in various project and design engineering roles, including Veolia Australia as an EPC in the Oil & Gas sector. David holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
Dustin Molyneaux brings more than 16 years of experience in the machinery manufacturing industry. Dustin’s journey began at Dresser-Rand in 2008, where he wore many hats, including Client Service Manager, Commercial Operations Manager, and Service Center Manager. Following the acquisition of Dresser-Rand by Siemens Energy in 2017, Dustin climbed the ranks holding positions such as Director of Sales – Atlantic, Director of Business Development and Digital Solution Sales, North America, and Head of Sales North America – Industrial Applications Services. By 2022, he was promoted to Head of Global Repair Operations, and in 2023, Dustin made a strategic move to Shermco Industries as VP of National Accounts. Dustin now serves as Cooper’s VP – Gulf Coast Region where he will lead our team with vision and integrity, driving growth, and fostering strong relationships across the Gulf Coast. Dustin holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of South Florida and an MBA from Louisiana State University.
Greg Penzato is a 33-years Cooper veteran who started his career at the Louisiana Service Center as a management trainee. Greg dedicated his career to Cooper and has held many positions in aftermarket services. Greg learned the business from the ground up and has served as machine shop manager, project manager and services manager. Greg served as the Southeast U.S. region lead until Feb. 2023. Greg served as the Eastern U.S. operations leader which included management of the sales team, parts, inside sales, machine shop and field service group until April 2024. Greg now serves as the Regional VP – East.
Bernie McCoy is a 20+ year leader in the oil & gas and new energy industries. He has held various leadership roles at TechnipFMC and Shermco Industries in engineering, project management and field operations. Bernie brings a wealth of strategic leadership experience to support our mission and values, advance our ambitious goals, and drive future growth at Cooper. Bernie holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA both from Texas A&M University.
Dave Upton is a seasoned technology executive with 20+ years of experience providing best-in-class solutions for the manufacturing and distribution industries. Most recently, Dave led the technology organization at Lowe’s Pro Supply, the MRO arm of Lowe’s Home Improvement, where he led the digital transformation of the organization during several years of rapid growth and expansion. Prior to Lowe’s, Dave served as Chief Information Officer at Tri-Point Oil & Gas Production Systems and held senior technology leadership roles at FloWorks and Gulf States Toyota. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta and multiple technical certifications.
Charles is an accomplished professional with 30+ years of experience with most of his years spent in the oil and gas midstream and pipeline industry. During his career, Charles held engineering, operations, sales, consulting, and senior management roles at Dominion Energy/Consolidated Natural Gas, Compressor Engineering Corporation, Siemens/Dresser-Rand, and FirstService Residential. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering, a Bachelor of Science in electrical and electronics engineering, and an MBA from West Virginia University.
Chad Brahler brings more than 3 decades of deep technical and leadership experience in the compression industry, with a focus on reciprocating compressor design, performance, and field service. He served as President of ACI for 12 years and held senior leadership roles at Cooper Cameron, where he played a pivotal role in advancing their compression business. A recognized thought leader, Chad has authored numerous technical papers and remains actively engaged within many industry organizations as a subject matter expert representing Cooper. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Systems Engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and retired from the U.S. Navy after 27 years of distinguished service, achieving the rank of Commander.
Brian is a seasoned supply chain and operations leader with over 30 years of experience leading transformational initiatives across manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and global supply chain networks. He brings deep expertise in SIOP, demand planning, inventory optimization, network design, strategic sourcing, procurement, and ERP implementation. Before joining Cooper, Brian served as Director of Supply Chain & Operations at Mahindra USA, where he led North American supply chain strategy for a $600MM portfolio of tractors, implements, and utility vehicles. He previously held senior leadership roles at Exterran Corporation and Appvion Inc., leading transformational and operational turnarounds. Brian holds a BBA in Operations Management and Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt.
Tyler Ewers is an accomplished manufacturing leader with more than 20 years of experience, specializing in Lean principles and their implementation. Throughout his career, Tyler has held key engineering and operational leadership roles at organizations such as Advanced Technology Services, Case New Holland, and Kaiser Aluminum. His responsibilities included spearheading strategic growth initiatives, optimizing asset management, and reducing manufacturing costs. Currently, Tyler directs strategic operations for Cooper’s turbocharger division, overseeing both repair services and new manufacturing ventures. Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western Governors University.
Chioma Eze is a strategy professional with experience developing strategy and implementing large-scale transformation programs. Prior to joining Cooper, Chioma led transformation programs across technology, human capital, and profitability topics while at Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the Boston Consulting group. She has a Masters in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from The University of Texas, McCombs School of Business.
Patrick is a sales leader with 16+ years’ experience building partnerships with customers in the power generation and gas compression industries. Patrick began his career in Moscow as part of GE’s market development team. After returning to the US, Patrick joined Cooper in 2015 and has held successive roles leading commercial teams in the U.S. and Latin America. Patrick holds a BA in International Relations & Russian Language from Boston University.

Jay Guidry has more than 30 years of experience in operational roles with over 26 years in leadership. He has been with Cooper for 14 years working in various capacities within new compressor and after-sale operations including sourcing, procurement, repair, and service. In addition to Cooper, Jay has held plant and operations manager positions with companies like Epic and Gardner Denver. Jay graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology.
Hans Mathews joined the gas pipeline and compression industry in 1991 with Tenneco where he spent 9 years in engineering, maintenance analysis, and leadership roles before joining Hoerbiger in 2000 where he became a senior vice president and general manager for their Engineering Services (HES) team. HES was acquired by Cooper in 2020, and Hans joined us after the transition. Hans is a United States Air Force Veteran and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
David Tomes is a 40+ year gas compression guru who began his career in the industry as a Cooper mechanic in 1980 working globally on reciprocating engines-compressors. In 1996, he moved to NRG Energy where he managed their United States Operation. Since 2010, David has owned his own compression business specializing in the overhaul and refurbishment of reciprocating equipment and parts for AJAX, Clark, Cooper-Bessemer, IR, Waukesha, and Worthington models. Today, David leads Cooper’s refurbished and UX parts and equipment business located in Odessa, Texas.
