Cooper’s Gulf Coast Houston, Texas parts, service shop, manufacturing, and corporate engineering center offers a diverse array of services, including in-house engine and compressor repairs and overhauls, parts manufacturing, parts warehousing, and technical support from our onsite corporate engineering team.
Established in 2005, the current Houston service center provides after-sale support for all the major engine and compressor brands from Cooper (see below). We are in the same building as our corporate engineering team and central parts distribution center, so our response time to customer needs is fast and never compromised by long-distance communications.

Proven results from our gulf coast location
The Houston (Gulf Coast) team undertook the complex task of overhauling and completely reconditioning three Cooper-Bessemer 16W-330s and one 8W-330 for a major U.S. pipeline company. In addition to the overhaul and reconditioning, all engines had their fuel and ignition systems upgraded to hyper fuel/clean burn. The entire undertaking was completed to customer requirements and scheduled over a six month period.

Dustin Molyneaux
Vice President, Gulf Coast Region
Dustin Molyneaux brings more than 16 years of experience in the machinery manufacturing industry. Dustin’s journey began at Dresser-Rand in 2008, where he wore many hats, including Client Service Manager, Commercial Operations Manager, and Service Center Manager. Following the acquisition of Dresser-Rand by Siemens Energy in 2017, Dustin climbed the ranks holding positions such as Director of Sales – Atlantic, Director of Business Development and Digital Solution Sales, North America, and Head of Sales North America – Industrial Applications Services. By 2022, he was promoted to Head of Global Repair Operations, and in 2023, Dustin made a strategic move to Shermco Industries as VP of National Accounts. Dustin now serves as Cooper’s VP – Gulf Coast Region where he will lead our team with vision and integrity, driving growth, and fostering strong relationships across the Gulf Coast. Dustin holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of South Florida and an MBA from Louisiana State University.

Steve Hammond is a 34 year Cooper veteran who started his career just after high school where he took a tour of the former Superior engine-compressor factory in Springfield, Ohio and knew he wanted to make that his home. Steve has dedicated almost his entire career to Cooper, and there are few things he hasn’t done in our company. Steve learned the business from the ground up and has served in Ajax package engineering, application engineering, shop management, service management, and sales leadership both domestically and globally. Today, Steve is the leader of our Gulf Coast U.S. region which includes management of the sales team, machine shop and service group.
